Taco Bell has exciting news for Cheez-It fans – introducing two new menu items that are sure to satisfy your cheesy cravings. The Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap is finally making its way to Taco Bell locations nationwide, much to the delight of eager customers.
After a two-year wait, the Crunchwrap featuring a massive Cheez-It is set to become a reality. This mouthwatering creation first caught the attention of food enthusiasts back in 2022 when Taco Bell tested a Big Cheez-It Tostada and Crunchwrap at a store in Irvine, California. These menu items showcased oversized Cheez-Its replacing the traditional tortilla, offering a unique twist on the classic dish.
Following the successful test run, Taco Bell announced that the Cheez-It-adorned Tostada and Crunchwrap could potentially join nationwide menus. Fast forward to the present, and the wait is finally over. Starting from May 20 to June 5, app users will have early access to the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap and Big Cheez-It Tostada before they are officially launched nationwide on June 6 at all Taco Bell locations.
The Big Cheez-It Tostada features a massive Cheez-It square topped with seasoned beef, diced tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream. On the other hand, the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap is filled with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream, with a giant Cheez-It replacing the traditional tostada shell at the center.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. In addition to the Cheez-It menu items, Taco Bell is set to introduce two new drinks in June – the Strawberry Limonada and Vanilla Creme Limonada. The Strawberry Limonada combines a lemonade-flavored freeze base with a strawberry freeze base, while the Vanilla Creme Limonada mixes the lemonade-flavored freeze base with vanilla creamer.
However, fans of the Cheez-It creations should act fast, as these limited-time menu items are expected to be available only until July 17th or while supplies last. So, make sure to head to your nearest Taco Bell location and indulge in the cheesy goodness before it’s gone!
