For its next Spring 2024 collection, Supreme has teamed up with MM6 Maison Margiela. The official announcement and lookbook releases just over a month after news of a collaboration between the streetwear staple and the Belgian designer came to light. At the time, it was rumored that the Supreme would be collaborating with Maison Margiela, but sources later reported that it would be with the MM6 label.
Lending its box logo to the luxury designer, Supreme continues to expand its plethora of collaborations with high-fashion partners. In the past, Supreme has collaborated with brands like Louis Vuitton, COMME des GARÇONS and more. MM6 Maison Margiela is the latest luxury brand to be attached to the box logo which can be seen on a variety of classic t-shirts as well as hoodies. The previously teased co-branded label which showcases MM6 denomination alongside the Supreme box, is seen as an added clothing tag on each of the collaborative pieces.
Combining Supreme’s key streetwear pieces and iconography with MM6’s avant-garde tailoring, the collaboration provides a wide range of offerings. From the Faux Fur Coat to the deconstructed Varsity Jacket, metallic and aged Work Jacket to the Washed Cotton Suit and Vest, each of the pieces embodies the Margiela design philosphy by providing subtle and subversive twists to otherwise mundane everyday garments. The two hooded sweathirts and matching painter pants take design notes from Margiela’s metallic textures, making them unmistakably touched by the MM6 spirit.
