KTrust Emerges from Stealth with $5.3M Seed Round for Innovative Kubernetes Security Approach
NewsKTrust, a cyber company, has recently emerged from stealth with a Seed round of $5.3 million for its innovative approach to detecting exposures in Kubernetes. The round was led by Canadian-Israeli deep-tech VC AWZ Ventures.
As companies increasingly adopt containerized application management, Kubernetes security becomes essential. However, traditional security tools often take a passive approach, focusing on misconfigurations or vulnerability management. In contrast, KTrust’s Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) platform takes a proactive stance. It continuously and autonomously discovers creative attack paths, maneuvers around existing security measures, and identifies and validates actual exposures with optimized mitigation for each Kubernetes ecosystem.
Nadav Toledo, CEO and co-founder of KTrust, highlighted the platform’s proactive approach to K8s security, stating, ‘KTrust continuously assesses your K8s security threat posture by challenging critical assets with advanced attack pathways. Our in-house research lab is dedicated to uncovering novel attack vectors to constantly refine our attack algorithms, ensuring validation and identification of attack vectors tailored to every dynamic environment.’
Moreover, the platform provides in-depth visibility into a customer’s K8s ecosystem, mimics attackers, and bypasses security controls to validate real attacks. This distinctive approach has garnered confidence from investors, with Yaron Ashkenazi, Managing Partner at AWZ Ventures, expressing their belief in KTrust’s Kubernetes security solution and its ability to meet critical market demand.
KTrust, co-founded by Nadav Toledo, Nadav Aharon-Nov, Snir Mazilik, and Sigalit Shavit, aims to assist companies and their DevSecOps by uncovering innovative paths, continuously validating real exposures, and automating mitigation for each unique ecosystem. The platform offers comprehensive K8s Risk Prioritization, Breach and Attack Simulation, and Ransomware Protection.
With this recent funding, KTrust is poised to scale and empower DevSecOps globally, ensuring the secure deployment of K8s-based applications.
