Hershey Unveils New Easter Treats Including Reese’s Peanut Butter Mini Eggs and KitKat Lemon Flavor

US confectionery giant Hershey is gearing up to offer an array of new Easter treats, including innovative products such as Reese’s Peanut Butter Mini Eggs, KitKat special edition lemon flavor, and Cadbury Caramello Miniatures.

The Easter season holds significant importance for manufacturers, as families worldwide come together to celebrate. Hershey has revealed that seasonal shapes remain a popular choice, with over one-third of purchasing households exclusively opting for Reese’s seasonal shapes over everyday items. Leveraging this success, the company has introduced a mini, ‘pop and go’ version to its existing ranges.

According to Hershey, Reese’s and Cadbury have emerged as the top two brands during the Easter season. Last year, candy sales in the US alone exceeded $3 billion, as reported by Statista.

Heather Seamans, Manager Spring & Innovation Strategy at The Hershey Company, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating moments of joy and togetherness during the special time of the year. She stated, “Hershey takes pride in being the leader of the Easter season, consistently delivering innovative and delightful treats that become an integral part of cherished traditions.”

Among Hershey’s seasonal offerings, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Mini Eggs are now available in an unwrapped form, presented in an 8 oz bag. Additionally, the Cadbury Caramello Miniatures come individually wrapped in a striking seasonal graphic, making them ideal for Easter candy dishes, produced in a 7.6 oz format.

The KitKat Lemon Crisp flavored bar offers a zesty option, combining classic wafers and smooth lemon-flavored creme. This special edition treat is set to be made available to consumers. Furthermore, Hershey’s Cookies n Creme Polka Dot Bunnies feature a white creme exterior with pastel blue, pink, and purple cookie pieces on the inside, delivered in a convenient 6-pack of 1.2 oz bars.

Hershey is also collaborating with Haribo for a special Easter venture following a successful Halloween partnership.
