Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot — First look at Goku’s Next Journey DLC gameplay

Get ready to embark on Goku’s next adventure with the upcoming DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Titled ‘Goku’s Next Journey,’ this new DLC offers players a glimpse into the world of Dragon Ball Z, set ten years after the Buu saga.

As the last episode of Dragon Ball Z is revisited, players will find themselves immersed in the Martial Arts World Tournament, where all of Earth’s warriors come together for the main event. Along the way, they will encounter familiar characters who have aged and moved on in their lives, including Pan, Goku’s granddaughter.

True to the series’ tradition, the DLC not only allows players to experience the events and battles shown in the series but also provides access to original dialogues, storylines, and more. Additionally, new sub-quests with unique rewards will be available, offering players a deeper dive into the Dragon Ball world.

One of the new side quests, ‘A Day in the Krillin household,’ involves recovering the lost necklace of 18, now Krillin’s wife. This quest provides a unique opportunity to peek into the daily lives of the characters living in the Dragon Ball world. As Goku and Krillin search for the necklace, they encounter challenges and ultimately gain insight into the characters’ feelings and relationships, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

While the DLC may not feature major super-villains or world-ending threats, it promises to offer new and exciting challenges for players to overcome. The epilogue of the quest provides a deeper look into the characters’ emotions, emphasizing the game’s focus on storytelling and character development.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot continues to provide a space for players to fully immerse themselves in the world of Dragon Ball, offering a unique gaming experience that delves into the hidden feelings and relationships between the beloved characters.
