Dallas-Fort Worth Restaurants and Bars Celebrate National Margarita Day with Specials and Deals

National Margarita Day is just around the corner, falling on Thursday, Feb. 22 this year. The margarita has become a staple of Dallas drinking culture ever since the frozen margarita was invented at local restaurant Mariano’s. To celebrate this beloved cocktail, restaurants and bars across Dallas-Fort Worth are offering an array of deals and specials.

Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant is adding a Rasberry Hibiscus Margarita to their menu for the occasion. Customers can also choose from their signature El Jefe, Raspberry Hibiscus, Skinny Margarita, or Platinum Hand-Shaken Margarita, all priced at $7.95 for the day. Meanwhile, Blue Goose Cantina, a Dallas-based establishment, is offering both rocks and frozen margaritas for $3, along with $3 wells, queso, and Mexican Candy Shots.

Blue Mesa Grill, with locations in Addison, Fort Worth, and Plano, is getting in on the action by offering top-shelf margaritas for $5 throughout the day. Chili’s, another popular chain, is also joining the celebration with $5 margaritas and a commemorative cup. Chuy’s is enticing dine-in customers with drink specials, including the option to upgrade their house margaritas to a grande for $2 and the availability of floaters to add to ‘ritas for $1 all day.

Community Beer Co. is extending the festivities by offering margarita specials, flights, and themed menu items from Feb. 22 to Feb. 24. Fuzzy’s is keeping it simple with $5 margaritas all day long. Meanwhile, Joe Leo is hosting a battle of the margaritas, allowing customers to sample the Passion Fruit Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita before voting for their favorite, both priced at $5 for the day. Lastly, Mexican Sugar is celebrating with Marg Hats, featuring two Mexican Sugar marg snapback and a hibiscus margarita at all their locations.
