National Margarita Day is just around the corner, falling on Thursday, Feb. 22 this year. The margarita has become a staple of Dallas drinking culture ever since the frozen margarita was invented at local restaurant Mariano’s. To celebrate this beloved cocktail, restaurants and bars across Dallas-Fort Worth are offering an array of deals and specials.

Customers can also choose from their signature El Jefe, Raspberry Hibiscus, Skinny Margarita, or Platinum Hand-Shaken Margarita, all priced at $7.95 for the day. Meanwhile, Blue Goose Cantina, a Dallas-based establishment, is offering both rocks and frozen margaritas for $3, along with $3 wells, queso, and Mexican Candy Shots.

Blue Mesa Grill, with locations in Addison, Fort Worth, and Plano, is getting in on the action by offering top-shelf margaritas for $5 throughout the day. Chili’s, another popular chain, is also joining the celebration with $5 margaritas and a commemorative cup. Chuy’s is enticing dine-in customers with drink specials, including the option to upgrade their house margaritas to a grande for $2 and the availability of floaters to add to ‘ritas for $1 all day.

Community Beer Co. is extending the festivities by offering margarita specials, flights, and themed menu items from Feb. 22 to Feb. 24. Fuzzy’s is keeping it simple with $5 margaritas all day long.
