WWE Superstar Carmelo Hayes seems to have hit a rough patch after his recent move to the main roster. The former NXT Champion, who joined Friday Night SmackDown not long ago, has been facing setbacks in his matches against seasoned veterans.
Hayes initially made waves by defeating Baron Corbin and engaging in a social media feud with Bobby Lashley. However, his winning streak came to an abrupt end when he suffered a defeat at the hands of Randy Orton, leading to his elimination from the King of the Ring Tournament.
Despite these losses, Carmelo Hayes remained defiant as he taunted LA Knight in a backstage confrontation. The veteran wrestler accepted his challenge and emerged victorious in their subsequent match on the May 24, 2024, episode of SmackDown.
Teaming up with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, Hayes faced off against LA Knight and The Street Profits but was unable to secure a win. Despite his pre-match trash talk on The Grayson Waller Effect show, Carmelo Hayes once again fell short in the ring.
