WWE Star Faces Backlash for Insulting Scottish Residents

One WWE star recently found himself in hot water after making insulting remarks about Scottish residents. Grayson Waller, a Tag Team Champion, faced backlash for his comments about Scottish women looking like Shrek.

The controversy arose as WWE announced the Clash at the Castle event in Glasgow, Scotland, featuring Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. While Waller was not initially scheduled to compete, he found himself in Scotland for the event and addressed the backlash on social media.

In a video shared online, Waller acknowledged the criticism he received for his previous remarks, stating, ‘Last time I was in Scotland I got myself into a little bit of trouble. I might have said that all the women in Scotland look like Shrek. People were upset, it was in the newspapers, I had dozens of DMs and I did feel bad about it.’

Despite the backlash, Waller humorously added, ‘But then I read the DMs, and I put a green filter over all the profile photos of the ladies messaging me, and turns out I was right, they do all look like Shrek! Although a few do look like Donkey.’

Waller’s comments sparked a mixed reaction online, with some finding his remarks distasteful while others viewed them as light-hearted banter. The WWE star’s response to the backlash has since garnered attention across social media platforms.

Meanwhile, in other WWE news, a UK and Ireland tour has been announced, adding to the excitement within the wrestling community. Stay tuned for more updates and developments in the world of WWE.
