World of Warcraft Celebrates Lunar Festival And Darkmoon Faire

World of Warcraft Celebrates Lunar Festival And Darkmoon Faire

February 4, 2024

The Darkmoon Faire has been around in World of Warcraft since the dawn of its creation, and this month players will get two for one, as we also celebrate the Lunar Festival.

February is filled with events in World of Warcraft, and two are already underway. Veterans of the game are no stranger to the Darkmoon Faire Grounds and how far it has come since creation. The games, lights, rides and buffs that come with the Faire are like no other, as this is when most players’ levels alts with the experience buff from the iconic Merry Go Round and Roller Coaster.

With the latest addition of the Dance Party minigame, players can earn several new achievements from dancing the night away against their competitors. There is also a new toy based upon the new minigame called the “Dance Dance Darkmoon Toy” that brings the dance party anywhere in the world, as it summons a stage wherever the player is but with one small caveat; they can’t stop dancing until the toy disappears.

As for the Lunar Festival, the time has come to celebrate the Elders and the Druids of Moonglade are there to help everyone do just that. Blizzard is running the festival from February 3rd, 2024 until February 17, 2024, where players will be able to take a trip to all of the major cities and Moonglade in order to participate in the festivities. There is one new addition to the festival this year, and that is the addition of a new questline.
