WeHo Pride Weekend Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride and Culture in West Hollywood

WeHo Pride Weekend has officially kicked off in West Hollywood, California, with a lineup of exciting events and performances. The festivities began with the ‘Friday Night’ concert at OUTLOUD in West Hollywood Park, featuring the talented pop star Kesha. The concert also showcased performances by Adam Lambert, Monét X Change, and other talented artists.

On Saturday, the WeHo Pride Street Fair, Women’s Freedom Festival, and performances on the Rainbow and Celebration stages will take place, starting at 12 p.m. The street fair will host vendors, booths, and community organizations along Santa Monica Boulevard, promising a vibrant atmosphere until Sunday.

The Women’s Freedom Festival at the Celebration Stage will highlight emerging LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and non-binary musicians, comedians, and activists. The Rainbow Stage on N. San Vicente Boulevard will feature a diverse range of performances for attendees to enjoy.

Following the Women’s Freedom Festival, the annual Dyke March will kick off at 5:30 p.m., leading into the OUTLOUD Music Festival, a flagship event of WeHo Pride Weekend. The music festival will feature top artists like Janelle Monáe, Kylie Minogue, and Diplo + Friends, promising an unforgettable experience for music lovers.

One of the highlights of the weekend is the WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday, starting at 12:30 p.m. The parade will travel along Santa Monica Boulevard, celebrating LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and progress. This year, music legend Cyndi Lauper will be honored as the WeHo Pride Parade Lifetime Ally Icon.

To accommodate attendees, permit parking requirements will be lifted for WeHo Pride Weekend, with parking meters enforced throughout the event. It’s essential to plan ahead and make the most of this vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride and culture in West Hollywood.
