Wall Street Slips After Strong U.S. Manufacturing Report

Wall Street experienced a slight setback as most U.S. stocks slipped following a surprisingly strong report on U.S. manufacturing, sparking concerns about potential interest rate adjustments for the year. The S&P 500 concluded at 5,243.77 after a 0.2% dip from its all-time high, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.6% to 39,566.85. In contrast, the Nasdaq composite added 0.1% to reach 16,396.83.
