VTouch Unveils WHSP Ring for Quiet Voice Assistant Interaction in Public Spaces

Are you tired of having to raise your voice to talk to your voice assistant in public spaces? VTouch has unveiled a solution to this problem with its new smart ring, the WHSP Ring. This innovative device allows users to converse with their voice assistant quietly, without the need to speak loudly.

The WHSP Ring is equipped with a proximity sensor, microphone, and button, which, when pressed, activates the microphone as the device is brought close to the user’s mouth. It works in conjunction with VTouch’s phone app, offering a range of AI character assistants, including a psychologist and an art curator.

Aside from interacting with AI characters, the ring enables users to control their smart home, listen to messages, translate voices, and more, all without the need to pick up their phone. Additionally, the button can be utilized to trigger alerts to emergency contacts when tapped five times.

Unveiled at CES 2024, the WHSP Ring is a promising solution for individuals seeking a discreet way to interact with their voice assistant. However, details regarding its availability and pricing are yet to be disclosed.
