Technology company VTouch has introduced a new wearable device called WIZPR RING, which comes with ChatGPT and voice assistant features, allowing users to interact with AI by whispering commands. The CES 2024 Innovation Awardee is designed to filter out background noise and can only be activated during close-range speech.

The WIZPR RING is equipped with a proximity sensor and microphone, enabling users to activate the AI ring with ChatGPT by whispering without the need for wake words. It automatically turns off when users pull it away from their lips, ensuring privacy by isolating their voice from their surroundings.

To use the WIZPR RING, users simply press the button and tell the ring which AI tool they want to use, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Siri, or Alexa. Once activated, they can whisper commands or engage in contextual conversations, allowing the AI ring to access their smartphone’s calendar, events, messages, emails, location, and weather.

The WIZPR RING connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth and serves as a medium to convert spoken words into texts, which are then relayed to AI engines for accurate responses. It also has the capability to listen and reply to incoming text messages, reducing the need for users to pick up their phones.
