Vanguard, the investment management company, has announced the acquisition of a newly constructed 91-acre campus in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 700,000 square foot facility, located within Charlotte’s University City neighborhood, is equipped with state-of-the-art office space and a variety of amenities to enhance the working experiences of its employees.
The company’s first office in Charlotte was established in 1997, and it currently employs over 2,400 professionals in the region, specializing in areas such as financial advice, sales, information technology, human resources, and client service.
According to Jennifer Manry, Principal of Corporate Systems in IT and Charlotte Site Co-Lead for Vanguard, the new campus is designed to maximize in-person collaboration and reinforce the company’s commitment to Charlotte as a hub for purpose-driven talent. The facility, situated at 2405 Governor Hunt Road near the Charlotte Blue Line rail link, is set to open in 2025 and will feature dedicated collaboration spaces, a conference center, full-service cafeteria, outdoor eating and walking areas, EV charging stations, and a fitness center.
