    V Rising Unveils ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ Gameplay Trailer and DLC Release Date

    Stunlock Studios, in collaboration with Konami, has unveiled the gameplay trailer for the ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ collaboration downloadable content for V Rising, a vampire survival action RPG. The DLC is set to release on May 8 for PC and later in 2024 for PlayStation 5.

    The gameplay trailer showcases the legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont wielding his iconic whip and holy weaponry as he infiltrates V Rising to challenge all vampires. Players will face a formidable adversary as Simon embarks on a righteous crusade through Vardoran, posing a significant threat to creatures of the night. Defeating him will unlock new combat abilities, offering a deadly edge in battle.

    Aside from the free content included in the ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ DLC, players can also opt to purchase the ‘Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack’ for $19.99. This premium pack allows players to construct their own castles inspired by Castlevania’s classic gothic aesthetic. It also offers additional customization options, including the ability to embody characters such as don Alucard, Maria Renard, and the Flea Man, as well as unlock classic Castlevania themes for their castles.

    V Rising is currently available in Early Access for PC via Steam and is scheduled for a full launch on May 8. The PlayStation 5 version is expected to follow later in 2024.
