Uber has introduced a new luxury service called Uber Bubbles that promises a unique experience for travelers in Paris. The service offers a day trip to Champagne, complete with lunch and wine tastings, all for a flat fee of €200 (about $217).
Uber Bubbles aims to provide a curated exploration of top Champagne houses for up to four passengers in the vehicle. The experience starts with a pickup from anywhere in Paris, including the airport, and takes guests on a roundtrip route through Champagne before returning to the city.
One of the highlights of the Uber Bubbles experience is a visit to Perrier-Jouët in Épernay, a classic maison with a whimsical floral decor. Guests can enjoy a tasting menu featuring dishes like marinated salmon, chicken breast with Champagne sauce, and strawberry pavlova paired with different cuvées from the house.
After the tasting at Perrier-Jouët, travelers can relax in their waiting Uber as they drive down the Avenue de Champagne and pass by the Reims Cathedral. The next stop on the itinerary is Maison G.H. Mumm, where guests can take a group tour of the caves, learn about Champagne making, and indulge in more tastings on the patio.
Uber Bubbles will operate on Fridays and Saturdays from June 7 to August 17, catering to the influx of visitors expected in Paris during the summer months. Reservations can be made via Uber Reserve, with booking available 75 days to 24 hours in advance starting on June 1.
This all-inclusive experience offers travelers a convenient and luxurious way to explore Champagne without the hassle of planning and transportation. With Uber Bubbles, a day trip to Champagne from Paris has never been easier or more enticing.
