U-Haul Expands Presence in Decatur with Acquisition of 3rd Self-Storage Center
U-Haul has recently acquired the former Assured Storage property in Decatur, Alabama, to enhance its self-storage offerings in Morgan County. The property, now operating as U-Haul Storage of Decatur, was purchased on April 26 and is managed remotely by the parent store located less than a mile away. This marks the third U-Haul facility catering to the Decatur community.
Located on nearly two acres, U-Haul Storage of Decatur boasts 246 self-storage units equipped with top-notch security features offered at competitive prices. The facility offers a variety of options, including indoor climate-controlled rooms and convenient drive-up units for customer convenience.
The facility operates during the following hours: Monday-Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can easily reserve self-storage units or moving equipment through the U-Haul app or by contacting U-Haul at Beltline.
Brad Weston, President of U-Haul Company of Northern Alabama, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Decatur community. With existing stores often at full storage capacity, the addition of a third facility aims to accommodate the growing demand in northern Alabama.
