Tori Spelling, the former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star, has recently shared an incident where her 15-year-old daughter, Stella, was ‘shamed’ by her classmates for living in an RV. Spelling clarified that they had only rented the RV for a summer vacation and were not living in it due to financial troubles.
During the premiere episode of her new podcast ‘Misspelling,’ Spelling recounted how Stella’s classmates assumed they were homeless after seeing them photographed in the RV multiple times. She revealed that her daughter was approached at school by someone who asked if she lived in the RV with her mom, assuming they were living in it permanently.
Spelling emphasized that they had simply rented the RV for a family trip and had driven up the coast to camp, like any other family. She expressed her disappointment at Stella being shamed by her peers due to the misunderstanding.
In addition to sharing this incident, Spelling also mentioned her divorce from her estranged husband, Dean McDermott. She revealed that she had recently filed for divorce, prompting a chaotic phone call with McDermott, during which they seemingly argued over the filing process.
Spelling’s revelations on her podcast have sparked discussions about the challenges of being in the public eye and the impact it can have on family members, especially children. The incident involving Stella sheds light on the misconceptions that can arise from media coverage and the importance of clarifying personal circumstances.
