Tesco and Sainsbury’s Issue Warning for Recall of Chicken Pad Thai Ready Meal

Tesco and Sainsbury’s have issued a warning to consumers regarding a recall of a particular ready meal product. Scratch Meals Ltd has recalled its Chicken Pad Thai with Noodles & Veggies due to the presence of peanuts, which could pose a serious risk to individuals with peanut allergies or intolerance.

The affected product, with a pack size of 380g and use by dates of January 25, January 26, January 27, and January 28, all in the year 2024, has been identified as a potential health risk for those with peanut allergies. The use by dates are located on the top panel of the sleeve.

This recall comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of consumers, and both Tesco and Sainsbury’s are offering full refunds for the product. Consumers who have purchased the affected product are advised to return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
