Taylor Swift has achieved another milestone in her career as she secures her 12th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with her song ‘Fortnight.’ The track, featuring Post Malone, also broke records on Spotify by becoming the most-streamed song in a single day upon its release on April 19.
‘Fortnight’ serves as the lead single from Swift’s latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ which has been setting records of its own, including becoming the most-streamed album in a single day.
Swift’s impressive list of No. 1 hits includes popular tracks like ‘Shake It Off,’ ‘Blank Space,’ ‘Bad Blood’ featuring Kendrick Lamar, ‘Cardigan,’ ‘Willow,’ and more. She now stands as the eighth artist in history to achieve 12 or more No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, alongside legendary names like The Beatles and Michael Jackson.
By surpassing Whitney Houston’s record of 11 No. 1 hits, Swift has solidified her position in music history. Additionally, she has also claimed her 14th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ tying with Jay-Z and following closely behind The Beatles.
Notably, Swift has made history by dominating the entire top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a feat she first accomplished with ‘Midnights’ in 2022 and has now repeated with ‘Fortnight.’
While currently on a brief break from touring, Swift is set to kick off the next leg of the Eras Tour in Paris on May 9, continuing to captivate audiences worldwide with her music.
