Canon Opens RF Mount to Sigma and Tamron
Canon has finally opened up its RF mount to third-party lens manufacturers Sigma and Tamron. Sigma will release six ‘Contemporary’ lenses for Canon RF, while Tamron will start with the 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD. Sigma’s lenses will be fully supported on Canon RF with autofocus drive optimization and communication speed. Both companies announced support for Canon RF simultaneously.
