Surrey girl chosen as Team GB mini mascot for Paris Olympics

Nine-year-old Dora McHardy from Surrey has been chosen as one of Team GB’s mini mascots for the Paris Olympics. A talented footballer and swimmer, Dora expressed her excitement at being selected and hopes to one day compete in a future Olympics. Her mother, Briar McHardy, shared the effort they put into the video submission showcasing Dora’s love for sports. Dora is set to attend the team’s official kitting out and participate in local team announcements, and has already met Olympic medallist Mallory Franklin.
