Southwest Florida International Airport Begins $1 Billion Terminal Expansion

The Lee County Port Authority has launched the second phase of the terminal expansion at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), set to exceed $1 billion. This expansion, featuring a new Concourse E with up to 19 gates, aims to accommodate the growing passenger traffic projected in the airport’s master plan. Enhanced facilities, including a new TSA checkpoint and upgraded baggage systems, will improve the overall travel experience as the airport continues to modernize and adapt to rising demand.
