The 36-story Guitar Hotel, shaped like a guitar and standing at 700 feet tall, received approval for construction in March. The Seminole Tribe has committed to providing $80 million in severance packages to affected employees, marking the end of an era for the resort that revolutionized Las Vegas entertainment.
