Guwahati Enhances Dengue Control with New Fogging Technology

Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is tackling the rise in dengue cases by acquiring five vehicle-mounted thermal fogging devices to enhance vector control efforts. With over 1,003 dengue cases reported since August, particularly in eastern zones, these advanced fogging machines will improve efficiency in urban areas. The GMC is also hiring additional field workers and urging residents to take preventive measures against dengue. This initiative highlights GMC’s commitment to public health during the monsoon season.
