Blommer Chocolate Announces Closure of Chicago Manufacturing Plant

Blommer Chocolate announces the closure of its Chicago manufacturing plant in order to expand and transform other facilities. The decision was made due to the location and age of the facility, increasing repair and maintenance costs, and elevated operating costs. While the plant is closing, some offices will remain in downtown Chicago at the Merchandise Mart. The company plans to expand lab capabilities at this location and focus on progress and transformation for the future.
