96th Annual Academy Awards to Air an Hour Earlier on ABC

The 96th annual Academy Awards will air on ABC on March 10, starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. This year’s Oscars will have an earlier start time and will wrap up by 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. The decision to move up the broadcast time was made to keep the show within primetime on the East Coast and boost viewership.
