Survey Shows bet365 Gaining Popularity Among Young Sports Bettors

A recent survey conducted by YouGov has revealed that bet365 is gaining popularity among young sports bettors, particularly in the age group of 21-34. The survey, which involved 2,000 U.S. sports bettors and took place from Jan. 5-18, indicated that 31% of bettors aged 21-24 prefer using bet365 over other sports betting apps.

Following closely behind bet365 were DraftKings at 25% and FanDuel at 22% among the same age group. ESPN BET, a newer platform that launched in November, also garnered attention with 18% of 21-to-24-year-old bettors using the service.

Interestingly, bet365 continued to be a popular choice among bettors aged 25-34, with 40% of this demographic opting for the platform. In comparison, DraftKings and FanDuel had usage rates of 31% and 29% respectively in the same age group.

Currently, bet365 is accessible in 11 U.S. states, including New Jersey, North Carolina, and Ohio, providing a wide reach for sports enthusiasts looking to engage in betting activities.

For bettors in the 35-44 age group, DraftKings and FanDuel emerged as the top choices, with usage rates of 37% and 36% respectively. These two apps also maintained popularity among bettors aged 45-54, with bet365 recording a 12% usage rate in this age group.

Interestingly, among sports bettors over the age of 55, DraftKings was the preferred choice, with 46% of individuals in this category using the platform compared to 34% opting for FanDuel.
