Stephen Curry leads Warriors to victory over Knicks with double-double performance

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry led his team to a 110-99 victory over the New York Knicks on Thursday night, posting a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds. The Warriors, who have been in excellent form recently, never trailed in the game, securing their fifth win in the last six matches and finishing the month with an impressive 11-3 record.

Curry’s exceptional performance included a game-opening 14-0 run, during which he contributed nine points. He continued to dominate, collecting 17 points and 10 rebounds in the first half alone. His stellar display was complemented by Jonathan Kuminga’s 25 points, and contributions from Klay Thompson and Chris Paul, who scored 16 and 11 points respectively off the bench.

On the other side, the Knicks struggled to keep up with the Warriors, finishing the month with a 4-8 record amid a series of injuries. Josh Hart stood out for the team with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Jalen Brunson, who missed the previous game due to a neck injury, made an impactful return with 27 points, supported by Donte DiVincenzo’s 16 points, and double-digit scoring from reserves Miles McBride and Jericho Sims.

The Warriors’ dominance was evident from the start as they raced to a 14-0 lead while the Knicks missed their first nine shots. Although the Knicks managed to reduce the deficit at times, the Warriors maintained control, ultimately securing the win. The game showcased the Warriors’ resilience and ability to maintain their lead, even as the Knicks attempted to stage a comeback.

Overall, it was a commanding performance from the Golden State Warriors, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the NBA. With Stephen Curry’s standout display and the team’s collective effort, they continue to impress with their consistent and high-quality gameplay.
