Bethesda has officially announced the rollout of Starfield update 1.14.74, currently available to members of the “Beta” program on PC. This eagerly anticipated update is set to enhance the gaming experience for players, particularly those on Xbox Series X, as it reintroduces an uncapped frame rate option.

  • The stealth bar functionality has been improved when near crowd NPCs.
  • Resolved a bug where destroyed ships could load in without collision detection.
  • Fixed a problem where loading a save dependent on missing content could place players in unintended locations.
  • Tracker’s Alliance – Roach will now accurately track completed bounties.
  • Bounty targets will now appear in locations such as Akila, Gagarin, and Cydonia.
  • Addressed an issue that allowed players to gain extra credits by extorting and then killing a bounty target.
  • Expect a greater variety of appearances for bounty targets.
  • Bounty targets will now be removed from the game once dealt with and after leaving the area.
  • Extorting or bribing a bounty target is no longer guaranteed to succeed.

Quest Fixes

  • In the Starjacker quest, the correct objective will now display when players board the Junker Watchdog.
  • The Legacy of the Fang quest has been adjusted to ensure the key functions correctly even after leaving the area.
  • In The Duel, players who attack Danika and get arrested can now speak to her afterward to complete the quest.
  • Anasko’s ID Key is now properly flagged as a quest item in the Scaled Citadel.
