Sports Illustrated Launches Women’s Swimwear Line for 60th Anniversary

Sports Illustrated is making waves in the fashion industry with the launch of a new women’s swimwear line in celebration of the magazine’s 60th anniversary. The renowned publication has partnered with Swim USA to create an 83-piece collection of swim tops, bottoms, one-pieces, and cover-ups, which will be exclusively available on the Sports Illustrated storefront on Amazon.

The debut of this exciting line coincides with the release of the special 60th-anniversary edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine. Among the models featured in this milestone issue is Chanel Iman, who flaunted pieces from the new collection, including the X-Back Underwire Bikini Top and the High Leg High Waisted Bottom.

Priced between $30 and $60, the collection will showcase vibrant tropical prints and bold graphics, catering to sizes XS to XXL. Christina Shanahan, the senior vice president of entertainment marketing at Authentic Brands Group, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to celebrating women’s beauty and diversity.

Authentic Brands Group, which acquired the Sports Illustrated brand’s intellectual property in 2019, has been strategic in its partnerships for the swimwear line. After a previous collaboration with Venus Fashion was discontinued due to the pandemic, the partnership shifted to Swim USA, marking a new chapter for the brand’s fashion endeavors.

With a rich history of empowering women and challenging beauty standards, Sports Illustrated continues to evolve its offerings to engage its loyal community and attract new followers. The introduction of this fresh swimwear collection signifies the magazine’s enduring legacy and its dedication to inspiring confidence and inclusivity.
