SPIRITBOX, the acclaimed progressive metal band known for their innovative sound and lyrical depth, has officially announced their highly anticipated “Tsunami Sea” North American tour for Spring 2025. This exciting tour is set to kick off on April 3 in Dallas, Texas, and will feature a total of 24 dates across various cities in the United States and Canada. Joining SPIRITBOX on this tour will be the talented supporting acts LOATHE, DYING WISH, and GEL, promising fans an unforgettable musical experience.
The tour is being produced by Live Nation and aims to provide fans with an opportunity to purchase tickets at face value, circumventing the challenges posed by ticket scalpers. To facilitate this, SPIRITBOX will utilize Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange system, allowing fans who can no longer attend a show to resell their tickets at the original price. This initiative is designed to ensure that the tickets remain accessible to genuine fans rather than being exploited by resellers.
Ticket sales for the tour will begin with a Citi presale starting on December 3, followed by an official artist presale on December 4. A unique pop-up event will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., where fans will have the chance to purchase tickets directly and meet the band. Additional presales will occur on December 5, leading up to the general sale and Citi Cardmember Preferred Tickets availability on December 6 at 10 a.m. local time through the official SPIRITBOX website.
In a bid to enhance the fan experience, all tickets will be mobile-only and will have restrictions on transferability, with exceptions for shows in Colorado, Illinois, and New York. This approach is aimed at protecting the integrity of the Face Value Exchange system, ensuring that fans can enjoy their experience without the worry of inflated ticket prices.
The announcement of the tour comes on the heels of SPIRITBOX’s second consecutive Grammy nomination for “Best Metal Performance” with their track “Cellar Door.” This recognition is particularly significant as no woman has ever won this category, highlighting the band’s groundbreaking presence in the metal genre. Furthermore, the tour coincides with the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, “Tsunami Sea,” which is set to drop on March 7 via Pale Chord / Rise Records. The album’s first two singles, “Soft Spine” and “Perfect Soul,” have already generated buzz, showcasing SPIRITBOX’s remarkable ability to blend heavy and melodic elements.
In addition to their headline tours in both the U.S. and Europe in 2025, SPIRITBOX will also be joining rock legends LINKIN PARK for select dates on their world tour, performing in Italy, the Netherlands, and the U.K. This collaboration is expected to introduce SPIRITBOX to a broader audience and further solidify their place in the music industry.
