A sonic boom advisory has been issued for an upcoming SpaceX launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base scheduled for Tuesday. The Falcon 9 launch, part of the ESA EarthCARE mission to low-Earth orbit, is set to take off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at 3:20 p.m. Following liftoff, the first stage is expected to return to Vandenberg, potentially causing sonic booms in the area and neighboring counties. In the event of a delay, SpaceX has a backup launch opportunity on Wednesday at the same time. A live webcast of the launch will be available on X starting 15 minutes before liftoff. This launch marks SpaceX’s 18th mission from Vandenberg this year.
