Despite undergoing knee surgery just two weeks before the shoot, the Griselda star was determined not to miss the opportunity to appear alongside Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and other talented actresses.

After her team expressed concerns about her health and appearance following the surgery, suggesting she should cancel, Vergara insisted on being part of the cover shoot. Even though she was still using a walker due to her inability to walk properly at the time, she was resolute in her decision to participate in the shoot.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Vergara humorously reflected on her experience during the shoot.
