This season marks the final opportunity for guests to experience the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska aboard the beloved Seabourn Odyssey, signaling the end of an era for the cruise line.
Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn, expressed the uniqueness of the upcoming season, stating, ‘While Seabourn will continue to sail to Alaska, the Seabourn Odyssey’s final voyages to ‘the Great Land’ provide our guests with a last chance to journey with her before she departs from our fleet.’
Captain Tim Roberts, renowned for his extensive experience navigating Alaskan waters, emphasized the exclusive itineraries that offer guests intimate encounters with nature alongside luxurious amenities. Roberts added, ‘You have not truly seen Alaska until you have sailed with Seabourn.’
The Seabourn Odyssey, known for its intimate size and yacht-like ambiance, provides passengers with unparalleled proximity to Alaska’s abundant wildlife and pristine wilderness. The ship’s itineraries are thoughtfully crafted to deliver the ultimate nature retreat, combining adventurous excursions with ultra-luxury experiences.
During the 2024 Alaska season, the Odyssey will conduct 12 seven-day voyages, offering northbound and southbound trips between Vancouver and Juneau to immerse guests in Alaska’s scenic beauty. Passengers also have the option to combine two consecutive voyages for an extended 14-day roundtrip experience from Vancouver. Additionally, the Odyssey will feature two special 10-day Alaska Fjord Odyssey itineraries and an exclusive 11-day journey through the Inside Passage and Alaska Fjords in June.
The season will culminate with a grand 22-day Farewell Voyage that not only explores the Alaskan wilderness but also crosses the Pacific to Japan, providing a memorable conclusion to the Seabourn Odyssey’s service with Seabourn. Throughout the season, guests can engage in guided activities such as hiking, kayaking, and Zodiac adventures. Ventures by Seabourn will take guests up close to natural wonders like Hubbard Glacier, Tracy/Endicott Arm, and the Misty Fjords, enriching their experience with breathtaking views and direct interactions with the environment.
