Samsung Rumored to Introduce Wearable Robot Bot Fit in 2024

Samsung is rumored to have big plans for the wearable market in 2024, with reports suggesting the company is gearing up to introduce its Apple Vision Pro competitor. According to a new report from Korea, Samsung is already in the process of strategizing the production of the Bot Fit wearable robot, hinting at the company’s ambitious foray into the world of wearable technology.

The Bot Fit wearable robot, previously known as GEMS Hip, was initially showcased at various trade shows in 2019. Originally designed as a medical device, the GEMS Hip was intended to function as an exoskeleton-type wearable, aimed at assisting individuals in improving their motor skills, rather than being a conventional Samsung Health accessory for fitness enthusiasts.

Despite the initial buzz surrounding the GEMS Hip, it has yet to materialize into a commercial product. Speculations about its release have been intermittent, with the product seemingly fading in and out of the spotlight over the years. The most recent development suggests that Samsung has rebranded the GEMS Hip as the Bot Fit, indicating the company’s continued interest in bringing the wearable robot to market.
