Sakurajima DLC Released for Palworld

The highly anticipated Sakurajima DLC has finally been released for Palworld, bringing a plethora of new content for players to explore. This expansion introduces a new island, a variety of Pals, and five additional levels in the Technology menu. While some aspects of the DLC can be accessed from the start, the majority of the content requires players to venture to a specific location on the map.

To begin the Sakurajima DLC adventure in Palworld, players need to head to the new Sakurajima Island. Situated on the northwestern side of the existing map, this island is positioned north of Icy Wind Island and Forgotten Island, and southwest of the Astral Mountains. Upon initially loading into the game after downloading the DLC, players will encounter a blacked-out area on the map. By navigating into this obscured region, Sakurajima Island will gradually reveal itself.

It is important to note that the Sakurajima DLC is tailored towards endgame content in Palworld. The island is populated with Pals starting at around level 42-43, with higher-level Pals reaching the mid-upper 40s and beyond as players delve deeper into the island. This design choice by PocketPair ensures that lower-level players will face significant challenges if they attempt to explore the new content without adequate preparation.
