Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day surprised fans as they reunited as Beavis and Butt-Head at the premiere of ‘The Fall Guy’ in Los Angeles. The duo appeared on the red carpet in live-action versions of the iconic characters from a viral ‘Saturday Night Live’ sketch.
Gosling, initially in a mint green suit, later returned to the carpet transformed with a prosthetic nose, blonde wig, and Beavis’ signature ‘Death Rock’ T-shirt, accompanied by Day as Butt-Head. The comedic pair had previously spoofed the characters on ‘SNL,’ leaving the audience and fellow cast members in stitches.
‘The Fall Guy’ features Gosling as Colt Seavers, a stuntman on a quest to find a missing movie star. Directed by David Leitch, the action-comedy also stars Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and others. In a touching scene, Colt listens to Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well,’ a moment that Gosling admitted struck a chord with him, even if Blunt thought he cried too much.
The unexpected reunion of Gosling and Day as Beavis and Butt-Head added a fun and nostalgic touch to the premiere, delighting fans and showcasing the actors’ comedic talents once again.
