Indiana’s Kel’el Ware recorded a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds, while Mackenzie Mgbako and Malik Reneau also scored 13 points each. However, Indiana struggled to maintain consistency throughout the game, allowing Rutgers to capitalize on their weaknesses.

Although Indiana had a higher shooting percentage in the first half, their 11 turnovers and sloppy ball control contributed to a scoring drought late in the half, allowing Rutgers to gain momentum.
