Royal Caribbean has unveiled its latest addition to the fleet, the Icon of the Seas, touted as the largest cruise ship in the world. Measuring a staggering 365m in length and boasting 20 decks, the new vessel offers an array of activities and amenities for passengers to enjoy.

Embarking on its inaugural voyage from Miami, the Icon of the Seas set sail on a seven-day island-hopping trip through the Caribbean, offering guests a taste of the luxurious and expansive experience it has to offer. Joyee Koo, a seasoned cruise traveler, had the opportunity to explore the ship and was astounded by its grandeur.

One of the standout features of the Icon of the Seas is its impressive array of waterslides, adding a vibrant and colorful touch to the exterior of the ship. The sheer size of the vessel was a sight to behold, dwarfing neighboring cruises in comparison.

Prior to its departure, the ship was honored with a grand naming ceremony, graced by the presence of renowned footballer Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates. Messi, serving as the official ambassador of the Icon of the Seas, added a touch of star power to the event, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Royal Caribbean.
