Rolling Stones’ ‘Hackney Diamonds’ Tour Brings Traffic Advisories to Bay Area

The Rolling Stones are set to bring their iconic ‘Hackney Diamonds’ tour to the Bay Area this week, with a highly anticipated show at Levi’s Stadium. As fans gear up for a night of classic rock hits, county officials are warning of potential traffic disruptions and advising concertgoers to plan ahead.

The Wednesday night show, scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., is expected to draw heavy traffic on major roadways leading to and from the stadium. Commuters are advised to anticipate delays on highways including 101, 237, and 880, as well as on Lawrence Expressway, Great American Parkway, and San Tomas Expressway.

To manage the influx of concert attendees, a traffic advisory has been issued, with road closures in effect starting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Tasman Drive from Convention Center Circle to Centennial/Marie P DeBartolo Way will be closed, with limited access for specific users. Public transportation is strongly encouraged, and attendees can find information on transit options on the VTA, Amtrak, and Caltrain websites.

For those driving to the event, parking lots at Levi’s Stadium will open at 3 p.m., with pre-paid parking passes available on the stadium’s website. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and post-event rideshare pick-up will be at Red Lot 7. Additionally, bicycle valet service will be offered at Green Lot 1, providing a convenient option for cyclists.

The Rolling Stones’ ‘Hackney Diamonds Tour’ has been a major highlight for fans across the U.S. and Canada, featuring classic hits like ‘Start Me Up,’ ‘Gimme Shelter,’ ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash,’ and ‘Satisfaction.’ The tour, which kicked off in April, promises an unforgettable experience for attendees, with a mix of fan favorites and new album tracks.

As the Bay Area prepares for this legendary performance, concertgoers are urged to plan their transportation in advance and stay informed about road closures and traffic updates to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at the Rolling Stones’ Levi’s Stadium show.
