Rocket Launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base Scheduled for Thursday

A rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 28, at 8:32 p.m. with backup options until 11:24 p.m. Additional backup opportunities are available on Friday, Mar. 29 starting at 7:30 p.m.

The mission will carry 22 Starlink satellites destined for low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East. After first stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster will return to land on the Of Course I Still Love You drone ship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean. This will be the 15th flight for the Falcon 9 booster on this mission which previously launched: NROL-87, NROL-85, SARah-1, SWOT, Transporter-8, Transporter-9, and eight Starlink missions.

A live webcast of the launch will be available on SpaceX’s X (formerly known as Twitter) account five minutes before liftoff.
