Road closures are set to take place in Downtown Miami this weekend due to the 2024 Miami Marathon. The closures will affect various areas, including Biscayne Boulevard and the marathon route from the Kaseya Center downtown to Miami Beach via the MacArthur Causeway, Ocean Drive, and the Venetian Causeway.

Notably, the Julia Tuttle Causeway will remain open for access to and from Miami Beach. The closures are scheduled to commence on Friday, January 26th, with citywide closures starting on Sunday, January 28th at 5 a.m. It is anticipated that all roads will be reopened by 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Residents and visitors are advised to plan their travel accordingly and consider alternative routes during this time. The 2024 Miami Marathon is expected to draw significant attention and participation, and the associated road closures are necessary to ensure the safety and success of the event.
