RITZ Toasted Chips Launches New Flavors for March Madness

RITZ Toasted Chips is bringing the heat to March Madness with the launch of two new flavors – Sweet Habanero and Honey BBQ. As an official sponsor of the 2024 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, the RITZ brand is set to spice up the snacking experience for sports fans and enthusiasts alike.

With the classic RITZ cracker taste that fans love, but with an oven-baked crunch, the new Toasted Chips flavors are aimed at enhancing the game-watching experience whether at home, with friends, or at the Fan Fest in Phoenix, Arizona. Jennifer Sobolewski, RITZ Toasted Chips Senior Brand Manager, expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “We are putting all our chips on the NCAA March Madness tournament this year, and we’re thrilled to be back for our second year to share two, delicious new Toasted Chips flavors.”

Adding to the excitement, Alex Neufeld, RITZ Senior Associate Brand Manager, highlighted the potential for fans to win a trip to the 2025 NCAA Men’s or Women’s Final Four through the ‘Are You Snack Bracket Ready?’ Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes, unlocked by Mondelez International brands OREO, RITZ, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and Wheat Thins, offers fans the chance to vote on recipes they’d like to see compete during March Madness.

During March Madness, RITZ Toasted Chips will also collaborate with a group of 16 NCAA athlete ambassadors, known as the RITZ Roster, to build excitement among their social media followers by sharing a first taste of the new flavors and other snacking content throughout the tournament. The RITZ Roster comprises NCAA Men’s Basketball Players Armando Bacot, Brandon Dwyer, Caleb Love, Donovan Clingan, Hunter Dickinson, Meechie Johnson, Trace Young, and Zakai Zeigler, as well as NCAA Women’s Basketball Players Alyssa Ustby, University of North Carolina, and many more.
