RIIZE’s Anton Shares Emotions About IU Concert Experience

Anton of RIIZE recently shared his emotions about participating as a guest at the concert of IU, expressing his heartfelt reflection on the experience. The member of the group RIIZE revealed a photo together with IU, showcasing a friendship that has spanned from their childhood.

On the 4th, Anton posted the photo on RIIZE’s official social media, expressing his support for IU and sharing his pleasure at meeting as RIIZE Anton. In the photo, Anton gently places his hand on IU’s shoulder, while IU gestures towards Anton, exuding warmth. Besides the photo of Anton and IU, there are also photos of IU with all the members of RIIZE.

Anton also voiced his support for IU’s remaining concerts, hoping for more love for IU, her fandom Uaena, RIIZE, and its fandom Breeze in the future.

Previously, on the 3rd, IU held a solo concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Songpa-gu, Seoul, with RIIZE appearing as guests. IU revealed that she met Anton for the first time since he debuted in the entertainment industry as a member of RIIZE. She described the experience of meeting Anton, who used to be a cute, younger friend and has now grown up, as both strange and touching. Anton, born in 2004, has a connection with IU through producer and singer Yoon Sang, Anton’s father. Yoon Sang, known to be close to IU and often referred to as “father” by her, also composed IU’s hit song “The Story Only I Didn’t Know” (2011).

In the past, Anton mentioned IU on his personal social media along with a photo of Louis Vuitton shoes, thanking her for the shoes as he climbed to the top of Namsan to eat a burger. IU responded to the post humorously, showcasing their unique friendship. Although the original post is no longer available, it has been highlighted by fans after Anton’s debut.

The warm relationship between IU and Anton, who have grown from childhood friends to seniors and juniors in the entertainment industry, is attracting positive attention. Anton also took to the Weverse community to post a lengthy message expressing his disbelief and gratitude for the opportunity to perform on the same stage as IU, an experience he never imagined possible when he was younger.

In his post, Anton wrote, “I attended IU’s concert yesterday. It was something I could never have dreamed of when I was younger, to stand on IU’s stage, but it really happened yesterday.” He continued to reflect on the importance of being grateful for his current work and the opportunities it brings. He mentioned that performing at the concert made him realize the need to show the good side of RIIZE and provide an enjoyable performance for IU’s fans, known as Uaena. Anton also shared his admiration for IU, noting the ease and confidence she exuded on stage.
