Rare Pokemon to Catch in Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey

Pokemon GO players are gearing up for the Lustrous Odyssey event, eager to capture some of the game’s rarest creatures. The event will feature the long-awaited debut of Dusk Form Lycanroc, adding to the excitement for trainers. As they prepare for the event, many are stocking up on Incubators, saving Lure Modules and Incense, and building their ideal raid counters in anticipation of encountering these elusive Pocket Monsters.

The start of the New Year has brought a wave of excitement for trainers, but it also demands careful preparation and allocation of resources. With the event just around the corner, trainers are eager to learn about the five must-catch Pokemon in Lustrous Odyssey that are rarely seen outside of this special occasion.

Rare Pokemon like Umbreon, Espeon, and Dusk Form Lycanroc to catch in Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey

1) Umbreon and Espeon

Umbreon and Espeon, two powerful Pokemon, are among the rare finds in Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey. These elusive creatures are not typically encountered in the wild; they are usually obtained by evolving Eevee or through Tier Raids. Umbreon was last spotted in the wild during GO Fest 2021, exclusively available to ticket holders. Espeon has never been seen in the wild, making this event a unique opportunity to encounter the Psychic-type Eeveelution through wild spawns. However, encountering them may require the use of Lure Modules, Incense, and the Weather Boost function.

2) Larvesta

Larvesta, a rare addition to Pokemon GO, first made its appearance in the Instinctive Hero event in 2023. Despite its release over eight months ago, players have yet to come across it in the wild or in Raids. This Bug and Fire-type Pokemon has not been featured in Field Research or other questlines, making it a particularly elusive catch. The only way to obtain Larvesta is by hatching Pokemon Eggs, but even then, it has proven to be a challenging find. The upcoming Lustrous Odyssey event will offer trainers a chance to encounter Larvesta, but it may require hatching multiple 2 KM eggs, adding a time-consuming element to the hunt.
