Porsche Unveils New 911 Carrera GTS with Super-Lightweight Performance Hybrid

Porsche, the renowned luxury sports car manufacturer, has introduced a groundbreaking upgrade to its iconic 911 model. The new 911 Carrera GTS is set to revolutionize the driving experience with its innovative super-lightweight performance hybrid system.

One of the key highlights of the new 911 Carrera GTS is its cutting-edge powertrain system, boasting 3.6 litres of displacement. This groundbreaking technology delivers a remarkable boost in driving performance, with the 911 Carrera GTS Coupé accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds and achieving a top speed of 312 km/h.

Powered by a modified 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine, the new 911 Carrera offers enhanced power compared to its predecessor. In addition to the performance upgrades, the vehicle features a refreshed design, improved aerodynamics, an upgraded interior, enhanced standard equipment, and advanced connectivity options.

The introduction of the 911 Carrera GTS marks a significant milestone for Porsche, as it completes the modernization of four out of its six model lines within a short span of time. The Panamera, Taycan, Macan, and now the 911 have all received updates, making Porsche’s product portfolio more attractive and customizable than ever before.

CEO Oliver Blume expressed his enthusiasm for the revamped lineup, stating, “Our product portfolio is younger than ever and highly attractive, offering our customers enhanced customization options and exclusive experiences.”

Derived from the world of motorsport, the innovative performance hybrid system in the new 911 Carrera GTS reflects Porsche’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive technology. Frank Moser, Vice President Model Lines 911 and 718, highlighted the rigorous development process that led to the creation of the unique hybrid system, emphasizing its seamless integration with the overall concept of the 911.
