Pokemon Fan Develops Concept for Johto and Unova Fusion Game

Pokemon fans are abuzz with excitement as one eager fan has developed their own concept for this year’s Pokemon game, fusing Johto and Unova. As the 2024 calendar looks a little barren at the moment, Pokemon players around the world are having fun with some new concepts while awaiting potential Pokemon Day announcements in the coming weeks.

The concept, shared to Twitter by content creator EliteRobo, proposes Pokemon titles named ‘Black Gold’ and ‘Silver White’ that merge both Johto and Unova, two generations defined by their links to the past and the future. EliteRobo envisions an HD2D entry, much like recent RPGs Triangle Strategy or Octopath Traveler, where players could travel between Johto and Unova as the story progresses.

While the concept has garnered support from some Pokemon fans, there is also skepticism regarding the likelihood of such a drastic change. Despite the unlikelihood of this fan-focused title becoming a reality, the concept has sparked excitement and imagination among Pokemon enthusiasts.
