PJ Washington to Start for Mavericks Against Wizards

Dallas Mavericks forward PJ Washington is set to start in the team’s game against the Washington Wizards on Monday. This marks Washington’s first start with his new team, following his debut with the Mavericks on Saturday night. In a corresponding move, Derrick Jones Jr. will come off the bench for the game.

According to our models, Washington is projected to contribute 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 24.1 FanDuel points across approximately 27.9 minutes of play.

In other recent NBA player news, Jamal Murray’s return for the Nuggets on Monday is questionable due to a leg injury, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is doubtful to return for the Nuggets due to a hamstring issue. Additionally, Spencer Dinwiddie is expected to make his Lakers debut on Tuesday, and Jaden McDaniels is available for the Wolves on Monday night despite a finger injury.

For the Mavericks, Maxi Kleber has been moved to the second unit, while Daniel Gafford will start for the team on Monday. Kyrie Irving has been cleared to play for the Mavericks, and Luka Doncic is good to go despite a nose injury.
