The gaming monitor market is heating up with the introduction of the Evnia 32M2N8800 by Philips, aiming to compete with top models like the Alienware AW3225QF, ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, and MSI MPG 321URX. This new monitor offers impressive features such as 4K resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness, making it a strong contender in the gaming monitor space.

Philips has been rapidly expanding its Evnia series, with recent releases including the Evnia 34M2C6500, Evnia 27M2N5500, Evnia 27M2N6800ML, and Evnia 49M2C8900L. The Evnia 32M2N8800 boasts a 31.5-inch display with a native resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K/UHD) and features QD-OLED technology from Samsung Display.

With a speedy 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response times, the Evnia 32M2N8800 is designed to deliver smooth and responsive gaming experiences. The monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and CleaMR 13000 certification, indicating high-quality visuals for gamers.

In terms of brightness, the monitor offers 1,000 nits peak brightness, although this is limited to 3% of the panel at a time. For SDR content, the monitor can reproduce up to 250 nits. Additionally, the Evnia 32M2N8800 comes equipped with a pair of 5W speakers, an adjustable stand, a USB hub, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1 ports.

Currently available in Hong Kong for HKD$8,990 (~$1,151), the global availability of the Evnia 32M2N8800 has not been confirmed yet.
